Our research colleagues Matteo Sanvitti and Jesika Asatryan attended the E-MRS Spring Meeting this week. From the 27th to the 31st they shared their ongoing research with other scientists.
Matteo gave a presentation on "The effect of molecular weight on the solid structure of semiconducting polymers", highlighting how the longer the chain in PBnDT-FTAZ and D18(CI), the greater the effect on their properties.
On the other hand, Jesika presented "The structural control of semiconducting polymers D18 on organic photovoltaics", showing how processing methods (with solvents and temperature variation) improve the structure and efficiency of solar panels.
